Happy New Year! I have a lot I want to accomplish this year. First off, I want to get the studio finished (it's been a year and counting) and second, I'd like to create new work. This is a daunting task considering I have two small children now and a part-time consulting job that takes a good deal of energy and commitment. I realized after pulling the paint covered plastic off my large printing table (the studio was painted back in December) that it's been a long time since I've been able to sit down and draw. I've been yearning to do this for some time now so we'll see.
Anyhow, I was recently asked to print a custom duvet for a family that was building a year round vacation home in Jackson Hole. Their daughter saw a pillow of mine and wanted the same pattern printed on a duvet. I love to make new things so I said "yes" and printed this custom duvet and four rectangular throw pillows. The pattern is fugi floral in glacier & chartreuse. The space is totally amazing! I love the look of rough-hewn wood.
