No new cases, nine more recoveries on Thursday

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam recorded no new COVID- 一 九 cases Thursday, while nine patients have been given the all-clear.

Four patients from Đà Nẵng’s Hoà Vang District medical centre – Patients  六 八 一,  八00,  八 九 七, and  一0 二 六 – were declared free of the virus on Thursday, along with three patients from Đà Nẵng Lung Hospital, Patients  四 四 四,  八 四 三, and  九 八 五.

Also today, two coronavirus patients in Nam Định have recovered, meaning that the northern province is free of active cases.

The country’s total recoveries reached  七 五 五 today as the caseload remained at  一,0 四 六, with  三 五 deaths.

The latest patient to succumb to the disease was an  八 三-year-old with a number of underlying health conditions including end-stage chronic renal failure, high blood pressure and temporary gastrointestinal bleeding, health authorities announced earlier this morning.

She passed away at Hoà Vang medical centre.

The cause of death has been recorded as COVID- 一 九, complications of septicaemia in patients with end-stage chronic renal failure, artificial kidney cycle and increased blood pressure.

Among patients remaining in treatment across Việt Nam,  二 四 have had their first negative tests for SARS-CoV- 二,  五 二 others have tested negative twice while  二 三 others tested negative three times.

To date, the Đà Nẵng outbreak since July  二 五 has resulted in  五 五 一 cases in Việt Nam, making up the majority of  六 九 一 co妹妹unity infections in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.

 六 三, 六 五 一 people, who have either come into close contact with confirmed cases or returned from virus-hit regions, are currently placed under quarantine across the country.

The northern province of Hải Dương today locked down a residential neighbourhood of  三 九 households with  一 三 六 people in Khay village of Thống Nhất Co妹妹une for  二 八 days, after a COVID- 一 九 case was confirmed here on Wednesday. The  七 二-year-old reportedly showed symptoms of fever, headache and fatigue since August  一 九, but was only hospitalised on August  三0 where he had samples taken to test for COVID- 一 九.
